Hello everyone,
This is my first post on RoBUST by Design. I am starting this blog because in a week I will be
44 years old and I want to work on transforming my life by my 45th
birthday. Why RoBUST by Design, because I am RoBUST woman with a robust personality.
I will be talking about what's going on in my life, fashion, cooking, probably my kids and whatever else that comes up.
I
am a big beautiful woman, but I am working on the process of losing
weight, which I will be doing with more effort soon. I want to be
healthy. I also have two teenage sons and I am preparing for the day
when they will be grown and on their own. I hope to get married one day,
but in the meantime, I am preparing for when I will be an empty nester.
Strangely
enough I have never been one of those women who loved to shop and just
recently the past few months discovered fashion blogs (Thank you
From the Rez to the City's,
Kiah, she started my on my discovery of fashionable, beautiful big
women) and that big women could look so wonderfully stylish and I have
been somewhat obsessed every since, along with shoes, I never realized
there where so many wonderful shoes and bags out there, Yippee. Over the
next year,
I hope that you will follow along as I
discover myself in every way possible. I am looking to step outside of
my life as it is now, boring and centered around kids. I am ready to
learn to enjoy life, not like in my 20's or 30's but in my 40's, haven't
quite figured this part out yet. I am hoping to start dating again and
will keep you posting on how that goes. I have been focused on kids and
getting through each day, not really sure what I would enjoy, but I am
really looking forward to experimenting and finding out.
I
have always been a very outgoing and daring person. I toned down the
daring when I began raising my two boys. I will tell you more about that
some other time.

They are in high school now, 10th and 11th grade, so I don't have much longer before they will leaving the nest...Yippee.

This is my last picture but kind of old.
Hopefully I will take a new on Saturday when I go to a birthday party.
That is if I can get a look I feel I look good in. Wish me luck...LOL
I
have already lost a little weight and I am trying to decide how far out
I am going to step. I gotta do it sooner or later and I am thinking
that this Saturday is a good of a time as any.
Hopefully in a year I will be about a size 14, then look out world.
